Wells-Barkerville Mountain Trails website is now LIVE!

The District of Wells is pleased to announce that the Wells-Barkerville Mountain Trails website is now live. Located at wellsbarkervilletrails.com this website is your definitive source for trail information on the Wells-Barkerville area.

The site contains trail information, area information, event information and accommodation information, plus information on the history of the Wells, Barkerville and Bowron Lakes area. All maps featured on the website are printable in PDF format and users can browse through the various trail areas by activity type. For users who are more familiar with the area, individual trails can be searched for by name on the search function located at the top of each page, and every individual trail page has the trail length, trail elevation and permitted trail usage information along with a trail description and any other applicable information.

The site features amazing photography from local photographer Thomas Drasdauskis, as well as great images supplied by local trail users. The site is also connected to a variety of social media sites, with a Facebook page, Twitter page, Vimeo page and Flickr page. Users are encouraged to sign up for the applicable pages and help disseminate the information to as large a group as possible. There is bound to be the odd glitch here or there in the site, and if you find any grievous errors please advise:
